Take a stroll through our vineyard and mountain trails. Knorhoek Wine Farm has four scenic trails for trail running, hiking and mountain biking in Stellenbosch—from quick and easy to tough and adventurous! The trails range from 2km to 7km in length, all with beautiful Simonsberg and False Bay views. Bring the family (including pets on a leash) for a fun day out in the winelands. Grab a coffee or water to-go from our restaurant or guesthouse for your trek through the vineyard and mountain trails. Then it’s time to put those legs to work on the slopes of the Simonsberg!

Bring your little ones for a taste of the Stellenbosch MTB trails. Our longest route is 7km, so we don’t cater to the professionals, but offer a great introduction to mountain biking for parents and children.

Our Stellenbosch trails are free for you to use, but please register at the restaurant or guesthouse where trail maps are also available.
Our beautiful hiking, trail running and mountain biking trail routes can be enjoyed on the farm at your own risk. Keep an eye out for wild animals such as owls, eagles, deer, peacocks, porcupines, snakes, spiders and the occasional leopard. They do not visit the area often, so you will be very fortunate to spot one.
