The wine estate has a long history dating back to 1793. Early family custodians of the land knew of the rich water source here and the potential to produce bountiful and highly sort-after harvests.
Situated in the world-famous Cape Winelands region of Stellenbosch, the farm is 200 hectares with 62 ha under vines.
Wine range consists of three wines, Method Cap Classique, Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon.Learn more
Two hundred hectares are yours for rambling, exploring and relaxing, making way only for the estate’s outrageously flamboyant permanent guests – peacocks that strut and flair their tails. Enjoy lunch while your children are free to play safely. The restaurant is known for its farm-to-table fresh and delicious dishes. But there is also ample space to spread out on Knorhoek Wine Estate and for couples to taste delicious estate wines and enjoy lunch around the pool or picnic under a canopy of trees. Of course, there is really no need to leave at the day’s end. Book and stay a while in self-catering garden cottages or in the bed and breakfast suites that lead out onto broad lawns and gardens. Let the days lengthen and all it remains is for you to shake off the pace of city life.
